The HIM Department maintains medical records for all patients treated at Haywood Park Community Hospital.

All records are analyzed for completeness and coded with the appropriate ICD9-CM and CPT-4 diagnosis and procedure codes. Records are maintained for the required time frames and information is released in accordance with all regulatory requirements.

The department is staffed by four employees representing approximately 84 years of service to this hospital. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
